Deflicker

Terms of Use

Last updated: 19 October 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Deflicker iOS application ("the app") provided by Silent Co, LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. This app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple's Standard EULA); where these Terms and Apple's EULA conflict, Apple's EULA governs to the extent required.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.

2. What the app does

Deflicker reduces brightness flicker in videos and can optionally remove the audio track. The standard processing happens on your device. The optional Fusion engine uploads the clip you choose to our servers, processes it, returns the result to you, and deletes both within 24 hours (see the Privacy Policy). Results depend on your source footage; we do not guarantee that any particular video will be fully corrected.

3. Free use, exports & purchases

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the app only with content you have the right to edit, and not for any unlawful purpose. You are solely responsible for the videos you process and how you use the output.

5. Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its name are owned by Silent Co, LLC. Your videos and their output remain entirely yours — we claim no rights to your content.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will produce any specific result. Always keep a copy of your original video.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Silent Co, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or footage, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law provides you greater rights.
